Method and apparatus deduplication

Embodiment of the present invention provides a method and apparatus for deleting data repetition. The method comprising: receiving an external covering of a write request transmission apparatus, the cover first write request carries address data block and the data block to be stored; determining the first address in [t1, t2] period covered writing a first number exceeds a threshold value; wherein, t1 and t2 are the time point t2 is greater than the t1; if not performed deduplication operation on the data block; if not, re-executing the data block delete operations. The method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, saving a lot of computing resources, storage server, while also reducing the impact on the operation of the deduplication data store network performance.
