THE INCIDENCE OF CHILD ABUSE IN ABEOKUTA (OGUN STATE)

This study was carried out to examine the factors responsible for Educational child Abuse in Abeokuta. 100, questionnaire was administered to 100 students in the public secondary school in the Abeokuta North and South Local Government Area in Abeokuta. The Data analysis was based on these 100 respondents in the school. Descriptive statistical tools *such as frequency table was used to describe, the data collected. Fran this study, it was found out that there is a relationship between Educational child abuse and large family size, the age of the respondents, the educational status of the parents, in-availability of materials for learning poor classroom facilities and lack of adequate teachers.
