Investigation of luminescence centers of unactivated CaS films

1992
Abstract A study has been made of the cathodoluminescence (CL) properties of CaS films obtained by electron-beam evaporation on commercial (01 12 ) sapphire over the temperature range of 300–700°C. The luminescence of the films, annealed in atmospheres of the native components at different temperatures 300–1000°C, is investigated. The nature of luminescence centers of the inactivated calcium sulfide films is determined.
