How is Brexit impacting food shortages in Northern Ireland

Centre for Brexit Studies Senior Fellow Dr Steven McCabe has discussed food shortages in Northern Ireland after many of the UK’s major supermarkets have warned the Government that an “urgent intervention” is needed to prevent further disruption.There have been shortages of some products as retailers deal with post-Brexit arrangements for importing food products from Great Britain. The chief executives of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Iceland, Co-Op and Marks & Spencer have all written to Michael Gove.
