Risk Level Evaluation of SinoSCORE System in Patients With Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

2013
Objective: To evaluate the risk levels of SinoSCORE system for peri-operative conditions in patients with off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting(OPCABG). Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 1347 patients with OPCABG in our hospital from January 2010 to August 2011. The patients were at the age of 36~81(61.33±7.74) years and divided into 3 groups as Low risk group, SinoSCORE≤ 1, n=724, Moderate risk group, SinoSCORE 2~5, n=436 and High risk group, SinoSCORE≥6, n=187. The clinical conditions before the operation and at the early post operative stage were compared among different groups. Results: Compared with Low risk group, High risk group had more patients with prolonged ICU stay, longer mechanical ventilation time aub higher mortality, P=0.002. Compared with Low risk group, the Moderate risk group and High risk group had increased incidences of intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation(IABP), positive inotropic medication, more chest infection, post-operative stroke, renal failure, and secondary tracheal intubation, while had lower incidence of atrial fibrillation P0.05. There were 12/1347 post operative death, and 1 in Low risk group, 5 in Moderate risk group and 6 in High risk group. High risk group had more mortality than Low risk group, P0.05. Conclusion:SinoSCORE system may better stratify the risk levels and predict the early OPCABG outcomes in patients with the low, moderate and high risks respectively.
