Investigation Report on The Elimination Rate of Stud Sows

The elimination rate,reason and diseases of the stud sows in some hogpen were investigated and the measures of reducing death and culling rate of stud sows were put forward. The research showed that the elimination rate of the breeding pig farm in the hogpen was higher,reaching 56.56 %. The elimination rate of stud sows in merchandise 1 was 47.83 % and 41.63 % in merchandise 2. The reasons of stud sow elimination were mainly barren,out of estrus,hoof disease paralyzing,old age and hysteritis.
