Feedback Control Of Multi-drug Anaesthesia Using Quantitative And Qualitative Measurements

This paper briefly describes progress towards tlie design of a feedback controller for general anaesthesia. The aims of the project and nature of the problem are discussed and relevant modelling of drug uptake is described. Real data captured during theatre visits is displayed and the additional knowledge acquisition process is considered A derived controller architecture is presented and the present direction of the project is specified.
