Перфузионная компьютерная томография в динамической оценке эффективности лучевой терапии при вторичном опухолевом поражении головного мозга

The authors studied benefits of perfusion computed tomography in efficacy assessment of radiotherapy using the Leksell Gamma Knife for secondary brain tumors. Perfusion computed tomography allows quantification of hemodynamic changes in tissues basing on measurement of cerebral blood volume (CBV), cerebral blood flow (CBF) and mean blood transit time (MTT). The technique is of high diagnostic value in assessment of postradiation lesions both in brain tumors and perifocal areas, in detection of continuing tumor growth early after radiotherapy
