DIFFERENZREFLEKTOMETRIE AN NIAL- UND COGA-LEGIERUNGEN NACH EINER BELICHTUNG MIT INTENSIVER UV-STRAHLUNG

NiAl and CoGa alloys near the stoichiometric composition were exposed to intensive UV radiation by an Excimer laser and later on examined by light microscopy and differential spectroscopy. The laser parameters energy per puls and number of exposures have been varied. Grain boundaries and grinding tracks became visible after laser treatment. In some cases twinning was observed. A correlation between the results of the reflectance measurements and the different laser treatments could be found and related to changes in the alloy composition
