Comparative Value of Clinical Examination, Lip Biopsy and Salivary Scintigraphy for Detecting Sjogren-Like Syndrome in Bone Marrow Transplanted Patients

1985
Sjogren-like syndrome (SLS) is one of the criteria used to diagnose extensive chronic graft versus host disease (CGVHD) (1) and it contributes to malnutrition and recurrent local infections in grafted patients (2,3). We compared the diagnostic value of 3 types of examination for detecting SLS: clinical examination, lip biopsy, salivary scintiscan.
