espanolEste trabajo pone de manifiesto las condiciones que debe reunir una escuela publica para cumplir el valor de lo publico. Por eso, hablar de escuela publica es hablar de justicia social y de equidad en educacion, y de una escuela de calidad para todos y todas. Hoy en dia en la escuela publica es necesario y urgente reflexionar y hacer cambios didacticos en el papel del docente, en el discente y en el curriculum. En coherencia con ello, se presenta el Proyecto Roma como modelo educativo y de investigacion alternativo que cumple con los Derechos Humanos y busca la mejora de la escuela publica. EnglishThis paper highlights the conditions to be met by a school in order to become a state school Talking about state education means talking about social justice and equity in education and high-quality schools for all. Nowadays, it is necessary and urgent to reflect and make educational changes in our state schools regarding the role of teachers, the role of learners and the curriculum. In line with this thinking, we present the Roma Project as an alternative educational and research model that respects human rights and strives to improve state education.
