Fabrication of ZnS∶Mn Nanoparticles Prepared by Porous Anodic Aluminum Oxide Template

Porous anodic aluminum oxide(AAO)templates were prepared by two-step anodizing oxide method.By making use of the AAO templates,ZnS∶Mn nanoparticles were fabricated with the method of electrochemical deposition.The AAO templates were tested by scanning electron microscope(SEM).The SEM image shows that the holes of the templates are well-distributed,and the diameter of the holes is uniform.ZnS∶Mn nanoparticles were studied by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and photoluminescence(PL)measurements.The SEM image shows that a layer of ZnS∶Mn nanoparticles has been deposited on AAO templates.PL measurements show that Mn ions had been doped into ZnS.The formation mechanism of ZnS∶Mn nanoparticles are discussed from the angle of electronegativity angle.
