The paper studies the system for regulating the activities of financial institutions, in particular the procedure to obtain a license. Analyzed data subject structure of legal relations of the parties regarding the legitimation of participants mentioned relations, the concept and nature of the license as a document allowing character in the context of the provision of financial services in Ukraine.
