Parameter Identification for Vertical Quench Furnace Control System Based on Orthogonal Function

The control problem of large-scale vertical quench furnace with voluminous and complex working condiction is discussed.For high precision and homogeneity of temperature control,an algorithm is presented to solve the integral operational matrix of orthogonal function.A block pulse function is used to transfer the partial diffirential equation to algebra equation of least square by orthogonal function transfer.Considering the influence of boundary condition and initial condition of system model during the identification,the precision of parameters identification is improved.The algorithm is easy to compute and it also keeps the spacial distributed characteristic of systems.
