ANALISIS KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA PROGRAM KEAHLIAN OTOMATISASI DAN TATA KELOLA PERKANTORAN DI SMK NEGERI 6 SURAKARTA

The research aims to determine and analisis the work preparation process, process of channeling graduates into the world of work, analisis the obstacles faced and solutions carried out. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method which is using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Respondents of this study are students of grade XII, vocational teachers, heads of special job fairs, and alumni. The techniques of data collection are observation, interviews, and document study. Data analysis is performed using interactive techniques. Data validation test for this research is credibility which includes triangulation of sources and techniques, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results show that the process conducted by the automation and office management expertise program to prepare student work is by the learning process in the classroom, the implementation of industrial work practices and vocational practices in the school environment, and the provision of facilities and infrastructure completeness, the process of channeling graduates in the form of alumni data collection, channeling into the world of work, collaborating with the industrial world and tracing alumni is carried out manually by the special job fair.
