Pediatric Orbital Inflammatory Disorders

Orbital inflammatory processes affect the pediatric population in large numbers and often in ways which may differ from similar processes in adults. The array of pediatric orbital inflammatory disorders, from nonspecific (i.e., idiopathic orbital inflammation) to specific (i.e., sarcoidosis, thyroid eye disease, IgG4-related orbital disease, etc.), will be discussed including presentation, laboratory investigations, imaging characteristics, as well as new and emerging treatment modalities.
