Research Progress of Leptin and Its Receptor in Primary Hepatic Carcinoma

Primary hepatic carcinoma is of the fifth prevalence and the third mortality among the malignant tumors around the world.It has made clear that primary hepatic carcinoma is related with some fartors:viral hepatitis,liver cirrhosis,affatoxin,chemical carcinogens and genetic susceptibility.Recently,obesity is discovered as another risk factor of liver cancer,and leptin participates in liver cancer occurrence and development,with leptins and its receptors abnormaly expressed in liver cancers patients.Here is to make a review on the research progress of leptin and its receptor in hepatic carcinoma,so as to provide new direction for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.
