Air pollution control in the Federal Republic of Germany; Luftreinhaltung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland

This article is a survey on the standards of pollution reduction technologies in several industrial sectors (cement industry, glass industry, waste incineration, metal industry) in the Federal Republic of Germany. The costs for the minimization of the emission of nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide and dusts (investment cost and operating cost) are shown. The annual sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides emissions for Germany for the years 1980-1992 are shown.
