Vergleichende hautphysiologische Untersuchung zur Wirksamkeit von Zinkschüttelmixtur bei akuter Neurodermitis

In 30 patients with acute exacerbated atopic dermatitis we performed a side-to-side comparison of therapy with Lotio alba aquosa to a therapy with topical middle range steroidcream (Prednicarbatcreme or Triamcinoloncreme 0,1 %). On both sides it achiered an identical healing of the skin; this was shown by a similar decrease of the TEWL (transepidermal water loss). We discuss the principles of the effect of Lotio alba aquosa on the dry eczematous skin.
