Атипичные варианты течения синдрома Меллори-Вейсса

In comparative aspect clinical, endoscopic features of the typical (414 patients) and atypical variants (43 patients) of the MalloryWeiss syndrome course were analyzed. Clinical presentations, reasons of the development, diagnostics difficulties of the atypical variant are discussed. Reasons of the disease, leading the development of the syndrome and hemorrhage relapse, are picked out into three groups. Prognostic criterions of the syndrome and hemorrhage relapse development, which are in close connection with repeated vomiting, are presented.
