The invention discloses a liquid crystalline polyester composition. The weight content of the metallic sodium element is 1ppm-800ppm based on the total weight of the liquid crystalline polyester composition. The test method of the weight content of the metallic sodium element includes: drying the liquid crystalline polyester composition for 4h at 120 DEG C, taking out 1g sample to be treated, adding nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide, heating the mixture for 2h, adding nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide continuously during the reaction, taking the digested sample after the digestion of the sample completed, and analyzing the weight content of the metallic sodium element of the sample by using an automatic inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer with model of 720 ES of Agilent company. The tensile strength of the obtained liquid crystalline polyester composition is improved obviously by using the formula of the liquid crystalline polyester composition adding the metallic sodium element with weight content of 1ppm-800ppm based on the total weight of the liquid crystalline polyester composition, and the heat-resistant stability at high temperature is obviously improved unexpectedly.
