Angular Spectrum Approach for Imaging of Spherical Particles in Reflection and Transmission Sam

The output signal for imaging a spherical particle with reflection and transmis­ sion scanning acoustic microscope is derived nonparaxially with the angular spectrum approach, which is based on the reciprocity principle. 2-dimensional computed and experimental results for continuously scanning vertically and laterally are presented.
