Electron beam sterilisation equipment

Electron beam sterilisation equipment which, while conveying preformed bodies (P), sterilises the same by irradiation with an electron beam, wherein the electron beam sterilisation equipment comprises: an introduction star wheel (21) which conveys the preformed bodies (P) on a circular path; and an outer surface electron beam irradiation device and an inner surface electron beam irradiation device which irradiate, with the electron beam, the preformed bodies (P) that have been conveyed by the introduction star wheel (21). A shielding short cylinder (31), which shields radiation generated by the irradiation with the electron beam and encircles the central axis (1v) of the introduction star wheel (21), is provided to the lower surface of a star wheel plate (22) of the introduction star wheel (21). A ventilation space (34) is formed in the shielding short cylinder (31).
