Using Anipamil as artereosklerosemittel.

The use of anipamil (1,7-bis(3-methoxyphenyl) -3-methyl-aza-7-cyano-nonadecone) and its salts with physiologically acceptable acids (a) in the treatment of arteriosclerosis and (b) for the prodn. of medicaments with anticuteriosclerotic activity is new. Daily dosage is generally ca 0.1-1.0 (sic) (pref. 1-5) mg/kg orally or rectally and 0.01-1.0 (pref. 0.05-0.25) mg/kg parenterally.
