Retrieval of Reproductive Complications by Exogenous Melatonin Treatment in Sreptozotocin Induced Diabetic Rat Model
2017
This study was aimed to evaluate the altered histoarchitecture and biochemical changes in Testis, Epididymis and Seminal vesicle of male albino
rats treated with streptozotocin. Also, another objective was to evaluate the
possible protective role of using exogenous melatonin in combination with
streptozotocin. After histological and biochemical analysis, it was concluded
that the exogenous melatonin may be used with other antioxidants to enhance
and modulate the functions of antioxidative system and also to overcome
cellular damages during diabetes
