The Comparative Study of Anthropometric Parameters of New Born Babies in Anemic Women

2016
One hundred new born babies by Anemic mothers were studied Anthrometrically. The mean value of Body weight was 2.55(±0.14)grams..the crown-Heel length was 43.09(±1.63) and Head circumference was 32.74 (±0.73). The correlative coefficient between body weight and crown Heel length was 0.72 which was highly significant (p<001) value. and between body weight and Head circumference was 0.93 which was highly significant (p<001). The regression equation of body weight was 3.27+0.0003(CRL), +0.177 (HC) This Anthropometric parameters will be helpful to Radiologist to correlate these data during radiological examination like USG, XRAY, in pregnant anemic women, and protocol to obstrecian and Gynecologists to treat the anemic women with appropriate drugs and dosage to the pediatrician to correlate these data with various diseases of new born during the treatment, because Anemia is also one of the inherent disorder, the cause is yet to be found out.
