Women and AIDS: dilemmas options and choices.

This presentation describes the biological social economic and cultural vulnerability of women to HIV infection. In addition in recent years some new technical options to limit the spread of HIV to women have become available but are surrounded by questions of ethical and cultural acceptability. This presentation gives an overview of the dilemmas surrounding these new options. (authors)
