Experiment of separating sperm nuclei of dairy cattle according to sex

Owing to the difference of sexual chromosomes of mammalian male gametes (sperm),X- and Y- bearing sperm were tiny difference in quality or density. To give prominence to the quality difference between X- and Y- bearing sperm at first, the acrosomes and tails were taken off,then the sperm muclei were centrifuged in the density gradient medium of cesium chloride,and they were separated into two fractions successfully.
