Пневмония у военнослужащих, иммунизированных пневмококковой вакциной «Пневмо-23»

2015
The authors analyzed the peculiarities of the pneumonia course in military personnel immunized with pneumococcal vaccine. 2000 patients with community-acquired pneumonia were examined. The peculiarities of the pneumonia course were studied in the control group (693 patients which were earlier immunized by “Pneumo-23” vaccine) and in the comparison group (1307 patients). It was determined that the incidence of severe communityacquired pneumonia among the immunized patients was 2,2 times lower, with moderate course 1,2 times lower in comparison with non-immunized patients and with mild community-acquired pneumonia 1,3 times higher. The number of community-acquired pneumonia complications in the immunized patients was 2 times lower than in the unvaccinated ones. More rapid regression of physical, laboratory and radiological signs of community-acquired pneumonia in the vaccinated patients was shown in comparison with the unvaccinated ones.
