The invention discloses a method for manufacturing a high-strength and high-plasticity spring by using 60Si2CrVA spring steel. The method comprises the following steps of: heating a 60Si2CrVA spring steel bars of which the diameter is more than 3 millimeters and less than 35 millimeters and which are used as the materials for manufacturing the high-strength and high-plasticity spring to 950 to 1,020 DEG C and forming, placing the coiled spring product in common quenching oil at the temperature of between 840 and 880 DEG C, keeping the coiled spring product at the temperature of between room temperature and oil temperature of 100 DEG C for 10 to 20 seconds, placing the coiled spring product in an air electric resistance furnace or a continuous air furnace, keeping at the temperature of martensite formation Ms point +/-30 DEG C for 0.5 to 8 hours, placing the coiled spring product in the common quenching oil, and quenching to form the high-strength and high-plasticity spring. The spring product manufactured by the method has the advantages of high strength, toughness and plasticity, and the method has the advantages of simplicity and convenience in operation, stable and reliable product quality and the like. Moreover, the method does not pollute environment.
