The invention provides a method for manufacturing a chemical power electrode. The method comprises the following steps of: a) coating or spraying a layer of organic slurry on one surface of an active substance sheet; b) adhering the surface of the active substance sheet which is coated with the organic slurry to a current collector; c) drying the active substance sheet in a high temperature environment to manufacture a primary electrode sheet; d) standing the primary electrode sheet in an environment with the temperature of the melting point of the organic slurry for a certain time; and e) instantly taking out the primary electrode sheet and pressing the primary electrode sheet into an electrode with required thickness. Compared with the volume specific capacity of the chemical power electrode manufactured by the conventional method, the volume specific capacity of the chemical power electrode manufactured by the method provided by the invention is improved by 8-12 percent, and the energy storage density of the chemical power electrode under the same volume is effectively improved, so that requirements of high energy storage application occasions can be met well.
