STUDIES ON NANOCOMPOSITE MATERIALS OF CeO_2 NANOPARTICLES/ANIONIC POLYURETHANE

The Nanocomposite Material of CeO 2 Nanoparticles/anionic Polyurethane has been synthesized by the method of nanoparticle direct dispersion. Viscidity analysis shows that the viscidity of nanocomposite decreases with the increasing of CeO 2 content. FT-IR analysis shows that the absorpsion band of CeO 2 becomes blue shift. TEM micrograph and light scattering grain size analysis show that composite particle is still in nanometer and monodispersion, whose grain size is 35 nm. CeO 2 Nanoparticles are uniformly dispersed in polyurethane. The forming mechanism and stability of composite particle has been also discussed.
