Renal cell carcinoma in a patient with mesenteric lipodystrophy

AbstractMesenteric lipodystrophy is a rare disorder not previously known to be associated with urological abnormalities. We report on a man with stage T3a renal cell carcinoma and congenital mesenteric lipodystrophy. To our knowledge our case represents the first concurrence of these entities.
