Digital Photography: An alternative for estimation of different dimensions of foot

Objective: This study aimed to use digital photography as an alternative tool for foot anthropometry. Methods: A total number of 110 medical students of first and second year were chosen by purposive sampling. The study was undertaken at Department of Anatomy, Janaki Medical College, Janakpur, Nepal from August 2012 to October 2012. Results: There was no significant difference between the values obtained by measuring in two different techniques From the result inference could be drawn that foot measurements calculated using a digital photographic method were similar to the same variables derived using a foot caliper.
