The invention relates to the field of mobile payment and provides a device for achieving air recharge based on a mobile phone audio socket. The device for achieving air recharge based on the mobile phone audio socket comprises a headset plug, a protocol conversion and electricity taking module, a card swiping antenna and one or more selectable function modules, and further comprises an E-wallet storage carrier. The E-wallet storage carrier receives and processes E-wallet related commands sent by mobile device client-side software and is in wireless communication with the external world through the card swiping antenna to achieve non-contact type card swiping. The invention further provides a method for achieving air recharge based on the mobile phone audio socket. By introducing the E-wallet storage carrier, limitation that an existing product must depend on messages or card-mobile phone APP software to finish air recharge can be avoided, and therefore the defects that air recharge operation fails easily and is lagging and compatibility of a mobile phone is poor are overcome. Meanwhile, the device for achieving air recharge based on the mobile phone audio socket is arranged outside the mobile phone, the card swiping antenna is not disturbed by metal components inside the mobile phone, and machine card compatibility is achieved.
