Experimental preparation of nano-sized hydroxyapatite

Nano-sized hydroxyapatite(HA) powder was prepared by using NaP as a dispersant and removing water by azeotropic distillation processing.Then the phase,morphology,particle size distribution were separately characterized by the X-ray Diffractometer,Transmission Electron Microscope and Particle Size Distribution Device Instrument.The main purpose is to observe the dispersion effects of NaP and azeotropic distillation processing.The experimental results show that NaP has a certain function as a dispersant and has an optimal dispersing spot of about 20%,which will reduce the thermal stability of HA powder.Further,azeotropic distillation processing can effectively prevent agglomerating.
