Study on of inorganic elements and content ratios of Ca to Mg and Cu to Zn in Acanthopanax brachypus Harms

2012
Objective: To determine inorganic elements in the aerial part of A.brachypus Harms. Methods: Fourteen kinds of inorganic elements(Ca,Na,Al,Mn,Cu,Pb,Zn,Mg,Fe,Ba,Cd,As,Ni and Se) were simultaneously determined by microwave-assisted digestion-ICP-AES,the influence factors(such as digestion power, amount and proportion of digestion solvent, digestion time, etc.) on various elements determination were investigated, the digestion condition was optimized, and the content ratios of Ca/Mg and Cu/Zn were analyzed. Results: A.brachypus Harms contains a variety of inorganic elements which are beneficial to human body. The content ratios of Ca/Mg and Cu/Zn were 1.5487 and 0.9121,respectively.The recoveries were in the range of 97.6%-104.2 % with RSD(n=3) ≤3.9%,and detection limit was less than 0.043 μg·mL-1.Conclusion: The method is simple, rapid, with high sensitivity, good accuracy and can simultaneously determine many elements in A.brachypus Harms.
