Rail vehicle velocity measurement and distance measurement system and method

The invention discloses a rail vehicle velocity measurement and distance measurement system and method. The system comprises a sensor module, a signal transition module and a velocity measurement and distance measurement processing module, and the above modules are orderly connected. The sensor module is used for transforming physical quantity of rail vehicle operation into an electric signal and transmitting the electric signal to the signal transition module. The signal transition module is used for transforming the received electric signal into data to be processed and transmitting the data to be processed to the velocity measurement and distance measurement processing module. The velocity measurement and distance measurement processing module is used for processing the data to be processed by an adaptive iterative algorithm and outputting the velocity measurement and distance measurement results. Through self-adaptability of the velocity measurement and distance measurement processing module, the rail vehicle velocity measurement and distance measurement system can adapt to sensor number according to configuration information so that velocity measurement and distance measurement system compatibility and scalability are improved. The invention also discloses a method corresponding to the system.
