Employee Hostility and Turnover Intention: The Roles of Psychological Ownership and Emotional Labor Strategies

2019
Through the questionnaire survey of corporate employees, this paper studies the relationship between employees’ hostility towards supervisors and employees’ turnover intention. Meanwhile, the mediating role of psychological ownership and the adjustment role of emotional labor strategy are discussed. The findings show that:employee hostility positively affects employee’s turnover tendency, and the employee’s psychological ownership partly mediates this relationship. Deep action positively adjusts the relationship between employee hostility and employee turnover intention. To a certain extent, further expanding the scope of research on hostility in the field of management opened up a new situation in domestic research on hostility.
