Phaseless Microwave Imaging Based on Random Field Illumination

2019
Motivated by the optical ghost imaging, the phaseless microwave imaging based on random field illumination is presented in this paper. By leveraging the theory of antenna array, the random field illumination is obtained with random phase modulation. The correlation between measurements implemented by random field illumination is envaulted by the singular values of the transfer matrix. Using the complex and phaseless data, the two-dimensional point spread function (PSF) patterns are simulated by the method of matched filter (MF) and second-order correlation. Also, the comparison of image reconstruction using different methods is presented. The proposed phaseless imaging system provids a new clue for solving the difficulty of practical phase measurement faced by existing imaging system.
