Секреторный иммуноглобулин а при лямблиозе

We studied 87 patients from 18 to 50 years who were hospitalized in the Regional Hospital of Infectious Diseases (RIH) with giardiasis. Analysis was conducted of the pain, diarrhea, intoxication and allegro-dermatologic syndromes in patients. It was investigated the contents of the secretory component of immunoglobulin A in coprofiltrates by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Significant increase in the content of the secretory component of immunoglobulin A was detected in patients with giardiasis, which can be regarded as a compensatory mechanism for giardiasis and its connection to clinical manifestations.
