Objective: The present study was carried out to find the prevalence of GBS colonization in pregnant women and to determine the pattern of antibiotic resistance of the isolates. Material and Method: From November 2004 to February 2005, 406 pregnant women were examined for GBS. Results: GBS colonization rate was 16% in pregnant women, receiving antenatal care at Thammasat Hospital.
