Air quality measurements and characterizations for vegetation effects research

1990
The purpose of this paper is to summarize exposures to SO{sub 2}, NO{sub 2}, O{sub 3} received by vegetation in the United States. Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide monitoring is carried out throughout the year. Because O{sub 3} levels decrease significantly in the colder parts of the year in many areas, O{sub 3} is only monitored during the ozone season,'' which has been defined by EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). 51 refs., 10 figs., 7 tabs.
