A method for configuring uniformly different types of intelligent electronic devices and the system thereof

The invention aims to provide a method for configuring uniformly different types of intelligent electronic devices and the invention can perform a uniform configuration on the intelligent electronic devices from different manufactures based on the configuration technique of the uniform MIB method, and thus simplifies the configuration method and improves the configuration efficiency. The method comprises the following steps: establishing a uniform management information base model among manufactures; embedding a uniform MIB into the intelligent electronic devices of manufactures, upgrading the intelligent electronic device; establishing a command format template relationship database; finding the intelligent electronic device operating in the network by polling; generating a configuration file; by the intelligent electronic device, receiving the configuration file, analyzing a configuration command depending on the type of the configuration file, and performing a configuration operation. The invention further provides a uniform configuration management system that can implement the above method.
