The rear interlocking protection device comprises a main cooling device, a standby cooling device, an electric-contact pressure gauge and a time relay, wherein the electric-contact pressure gauge is arranged on a cooling water circulating pipeline and respectively electrically connected with the main cooling device and the standby cooling device for comparing measured pressure of the cooling water with the set pressure and controlling the operation of the main cooling device, the standby cooling device and a sodium casting machine according to the comparison result; and the time relay is respectively electrically connected with the main cooling device, the standby cooling device and the electric-contact pressure gauge for controlling the main cooling device and the standby cooling device to automatically switch or control the operation or the stoppage of the sodium casting machine in delay time according to the pressure measured by the electric-contact pressure gauge. Through the utilization of the interlocking protection device, sodium interruption or sodium spraying accidents can be prevented, and the continuity and the safety of the sodium casting link can be guaranteed.
