Glass mould bottom casting method

2013
The invention discloses a glass mould bottom casting method. The glass mould bottom casting method includes steps of (1) casting a copper alloy modeling portion with a projecting portion at the bottom, adding 0.5-2mm allowance thickness on the surface of the joint of the projecting portion and the modeling portion; (2) locally heating the projecting portion of the modeling portion at the temperature of 800-950 DEG C so as to form an oxidation layer on the projecting portion; and (3) casting a base by fusion molten iron, and casting the projecting portion of the modeling portion in the base during casting. The glass mould bottom casting method breaks through the conventional concept that copper oxide is reduced and removed as far as possible, contrarily, the copper oxide layer tries to form on the projecting portion of the modeling portion so as to form a protective layer stopping melting of the molten iron, and finally the molten iron and the surface of the projecting portion are fused together to guarantee connecting firmness of the modeling portion and the base.
