`붉은 한글운동`의 기원

2016
This paper deals with the linguistic movement by the ethnic Korean residents of the Soviet Maritime Province, approaching it as a part of the Korean cultural independence movement. This movement by the Korean settlers and their descendants is understood to constitute one of the roots of the linguistic radicalism of the social DPRK’s first formative years. Such possibility may be confirmed by the comparative analysis of DPRK’s early language policies and Soviet-Korean language experiments, which demonstrate significant similarities from the viewpoint of their influence not only on status, but also on the corpus of Korean.
