Organic residues in the substrate composition and the e no development of the ornamental sunflower.

2010
The objective was evaluated the effect of organic residues in the development and the retardation of the senescence of basal leaf senescence in vase sunflower. The experiment was lead in pot, with volume of 1,3L, experiment was conducted under controlled cultivation, in the Fame of the State University of the North of the Parana, Campus Luiz Meneghel, city of Bandeirantes/PR/Brazil, using the culture of sunflower cv. "Sunflower F1 Sumbrite Supreme". The experimental design was entirely in randomized blocks with four treatments and for repetitions, of in a bi-factorial 4 x 2 +1 distribution (sources x doses+ testifies), where four sources of organic residues had been used: humus of earthworm, and poultry sheep and cattle manure in two doses: 25% of commercial substrate Plantmax ® substrate and 50% of commercial substrate Plantmax ® . In the witness mg L -1 was used the urea in the dose of 100 two times of the week. Two samplings had been carried through: 30 days after plantation (DAP), where the leaf number and height had been evaluated plants (cm), and in the harvest, when the chapters total were opened had been evaluated the leaf number, height of plants, diameter of the inflorescences and number of days between the harvest and the senescence of the inflorescences. In the experimental conditions of 50% do not recommend the mixture of 50% of aviary bed + commercial substrate, in the quality of the plants of ornamental sunflower.
