Mass spectrometry of some dichloroacetamides of pharmacological interest. Evidence for an unusual skeletal rearrangement

The mass spectrometric behaviour of six N-(2-ethoxyethyl)-N-p-substituted benzyldichloroacetamides is described and discussed in detail with the aid of exact mass measurements, metastable analysis and mass-analysed ion kinetic energy spectrometry. The presence of an unusual skeletal rearrangement is described.
