Effects of skin sensitization test wrapping on guinea pigs

In our laboratory, when several guinea pigs were examined post-mortem following a single 6-h exposure to screen potential dose levels for a skin sensitization test, it was observed that some had developed hepatic necrosis. This study was conducted to determine whether liver lesions would be caused by repeated wrapping during a sensitization test regimen involving 10 induction periods
